Once you find yourself in chartreuse land, you'll want to stay a while (See: The Last Word). So we continue with this recipe. (Brought into our house by Christy Lynch of Nashville)
1 1/2 brandy
3/4 oz chartreuse (yellow, but green permissable)
3/4 oz lemon juice
Stir well with cracked ice, strain into Collins glass.
Optional: top with seltzer
