Savory French Toast

Your choice of bread

As many eggs as people

Prosciutto

Refried beans

Caramelized Onions and Wilted Greens

Salsa/Hot Sauce

Melt butter in a skillet, bring to medium heat. Crack eggs in a flat dish, and dunk a piece of bread in on each side, gently wrap a piece of prosciutto around the bread and lay in a skillet. Repeat with as many pieces will fit in your skillet at a time.

Cook on one side for 2-3 minutes or until satisfactorily browned, and flip until likewise toasty.

Transfer to plate and top however you like! Some favorites are slathered with refried beans, and topped with onions, kale, and salsa.

Or if you're sweet and savory person, try a little strawberry jam on part of your savory toast. (I love this)
